Greetings! I'm Elsa Riedel.

You too can transform your ceramic
pieces into works of Fired Art.

I welcome the chance to show you how.

I enjoy painting and teaching and work with a variety of mediums, surfaces, and styles. I have had the opportunity to study the decorative arts from the "Queen of Tole", Priscilla Hauser, Sherry C. Nelson, and many talented artists in the ceramic industry.

I earned my Ceramic Art Institute Certification in 1997 and have certified with most of the hobby ceramic color companies. I am a Traveling Instructor for Doc Holliday Molds, and a DecoArt Helping Artist. In addition to aiding these companies in introducing new products or techniques to all, I thoroughly enjoy helping them to establish a foundation for newcomers to the ceramic and decorative arts to build upon by teaching the essential skills and product knowledge necessary to succeed.

I often draw upon my experience as an award-winning photographer to record and then transform what I see through the camera lens into original designs that go "Beyond the Basics". For those that have developed their basic skills and are ready to move to a new level, I offer these designs as hands-on classes or as pattern packets with detailed instructions, full size line drawings and photographs.

Relax! Enjoy! You can do it!

Thanks!!
